The flawless papaya soap had been so popular on social media recently. A lot of pictures of girls who had seen incredibly whitening change on their skin upon weeks of using the soap. I can't wait to try it out and see the results for myself. Whitening had long been hyped here in the Philippines. We, Filipinos, naturally have olive skin along with other nationalities in Asia. It's a fact that the most "saleable" items here in our country are the whitening products. Many had requested me to try and give a review about it.I, for one, want to have a little bit of fairness on my skin to give me that fresh look so I'm definitely checking out this soap. But nevertheless, I still love my Filipino skin and forever be proud of it. Anyway, I want to share my experience on my first day of application. Here It is...
BEFORE APPLICATION
The soap has a unique packaging on first glance.I could always remember a peach mango pie from Jollibee if that made sense(feeling hungry). It was enclosed in a hard paper packaging and a plastic, maybe to prevent the product from any further damage. The soap alone was orange in color with a unique texture.DURING APPLICATION
When I was trying the soap for the first time, It glided on my skin smoothly. It immediately lathers when in contact with water. You can totally see the orange color on the soap foam. I would suggest you use a different soap rack for this soap since it easily melts with water unlike other really hard soaps. For me, this is a PLUS thing because it would mean that the product has more natural ingredients than preservatives.I like to let the product sit for a while on my skin before washing it all off.
AFTER APPLICATION
After application, I lather some good lotion with SPF because it is summer here and God knows, how those sun rays can damage your skin. I have also read reviews that this soap has peeling effect so I protected myself. I didn't bought the sunblock that the company has because I want to try-out the soap first.I don't know why I have experienced a little bit of itching on my skin minutes after taking a bath. I'm not sure if it's the effect of the soap because the itchiness wasn't all over the body. Anyway, It had subsided and I'm still going to use the soap later and definitely for 2 weeks straight.
In a nutshell, my first day of application was not so bad. It's my first time applying the product so I can't really tell if it's effective or not. It has a good packaging, smells good and lathers quite easily. There was no problem applying the soap. The product promises to whiten the skin after two weeks of continuous usage. So let us see if it lives up to it's expectations. After two weeks, I promise to blog about it for you guys. I'm excited for the results and will keep you posted. I hope this blog helped you in any way. See you on my next blog!
love,
