Chicfit: How I lose 1 kilogram in three days.

Since its the New Year let me jumpstart this year with another Chicfit series post. With all the eating and drinking during the holidays, I must admit that I gained again my love handles back.( They must have missed me!cuddles). Before Christmas, I was maintaining a weight of fifty three-fifty four kilograms. After Christmas and New year's Eve, I am now up to fifty eight. The girls in Facebook and twitter were also whining about their weight gain through the holidays and yes, our new years resolution about losing weight last year is the same as this year. ( I can totally relate TBH). My friends and I figured out to weigh ourselves every Friday and see if we can lose some weight all through out the rest of the week. After Friday, I was so upset  about the weight gain that I decided to try out the WATER THERAPY.

Basically, you just drink 3 liters of water three days straight along with your food. There is no special diet on this one,you just have to add more water in your system.I started to drink water Saturday morning and continue until Monday. I know that drinking water is not my style but I can't believe that it really works. If you are struggling in finishing 3 L of plain, unflavored and tasteless water, these tips might be helpful.

1. Drink water right after you wake-up.

Morning is the time we are really thirsty and we have this metallic taste in our mouths.It doesn't need to be a chore but a lifestyle instead. If you make this a routine like getting up and chugging huge amount of water, you don't have to constantly remind yourself about this.

2. Put some lemon or mint leaves.

Lemons are expensive here in the Philippines, so I make do with Calamansi (Small type of lime found here in our country). I peel it and let it set in my water for an hour and drink it. This is for people who want a little bit of taste in their water.

3.Always bring the water container with you. 

Whether you are walking the dog or going to office, bring the water with you. You can reach for it anytime of the day and before you knew it, it's already consumed. When I watched TV and youtube, I reached for it and I get overjoyed refilling it again.

Water re-hydrates your system keeping you out from snacking. You might think that you are hungry even after lunch but your body is just aching for some water.It also makes you fuller preventing you from stuffing more carbs and empty calories.It also flushes out toxins and stops you from retaining water into your body which adds to your overall weight. By the way, I weighed myself Monday afternoon at work, and yes, I lose 1 kilogram. I am now down to fifty six.Maybe it was the retained fluid in my system, I'm not quite sure but at least I had a positive result. This was based on my experience alone and I haven't done it without much research. Comment down below if you have tried it and what were your feelings about it.
