Today's look is all about on the budget make-up that is perfect for school and work. Anyone can rock this look using products that are affordable and greatly recommended by me. This make-up look is also suitable for everyday basis.

Lets start!

Start with a clean and moisturized face. Applying moisturizer daily is a MUST especially if you have combination to oily skin. 


Everyday, I always grab and apply my Mary Kay Timewise Moisturizer. It is a bit expensive but definitely worth your money since it has anti-aging properties and this is not sticky at all. By all means,this is not included in my tutorial and you can surely use moisturizer that you already own. Let's proceed gals!




The star of this tutorial is the AIDO MAKE-UP KIT. It has a variety of colors, ten eyeshadows to be exact. It also includes 2 blushes. For the price of 100 pesos or roughly 2 dollars, you can really get a lot from this pallet. 



Apply the brown hues on your crease and make sure to blend everything. Some of the eyeshadows were not as pigmented as I hoped for but you can always work with them. Blending is key.




For the center of my lids, I use the light gold color which compliments the look so much. 



For blush I use the Avon Mineral Blush in "Blushed". This also one of the affordable products in this tutorial. It is pigmented and it has mineral contents which is good for your skin.




For my lips, I have used a combo of two lipsticks. A pink colored lipstick from Nichido ( " Pretty Tulip" ) and Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in  " Shell".

As you can see, this look is very subtle, perfect for everyday use.

How was your summer?.. I had tried out this new launched baked eye trio from Mary Kay since March. What I have, was the Electric Spring baked eye trio and the colors were really fit for the spring time.But you can never go wrong with this colors because they are unique and very timeless.It came in with the famous teal and white colors which are very versatile colors for me. I love how the packaging has its transparent case that you can see through the plastic what colors you will get. There is also a cute Mary Kay at play logo button which I also adore. At the back side you will be able to see its name and where it is made, which is helpful when you try to remember things right?


You can get this through a Mary Kay beauty consultant. It's retail price is 499 Philippine Pesos.

It is so smooth. The shadows blend easily, very blendable and pigmented. Majority of the shadows have shimmer finish.I love how there is a mix of satin finish and shimmer shadows in there. Although, I would have loved it more if they also throw in some matte eyeshadow on the trio, I tried to mix some of the colors and there was no problem with the color opacity of the shadows. Here are the swatches:



My favorite color was the white eye shadow, it was very shimmery, perfect for the inner eyes. It is also a very versatile color to apply on the crease with a matte neutral eye shadow to create a good make-up look.




I have been liking this trio considering the price that you get. I wished, however, that they would have added more matte and neutral colors on their trio. Hence this is still a sulitpinay YES since its pigmentation is really good with long wear time.

It's currently summer here in the Philippines and we don't want that oily face taking our fun as we enjoy the sun. I must admit that It is really difficult to maintain a matte face all through out the day especially when the sun is at it's best. We do not really want a sloppy and oily face for selfies, right? Here are my essentials to combat greasiness and will produce picture perfect face for your summer memories.



Let us start.

1. The Quick FX No-shine Mattifier



I highly recommend this baby for this time of the year. You can use it underneath your make-up or over your foundation. After you have applied make-up and if you would want to diminish the oil, you can mattify your face in seconds with this one. The Bonus thing is it's price and many beauty gurus pledge this one as their primer.

2. Mary Kay Timewise Matte Wear liquid foundation.


This is perfect for an instant matte face. It gives the coverage you need and it dries easily as well. If your changing up your foundation for the summer time, give this one a try. My review on this product was already up on my blog in case you've missed it. Just click here.

3. Avon Ideal White Dual Powder Foundation



I always hit pan on this one. It has great coverage and SPF for the sun rays. It also gives you an instant fresh face. I recommend using this after the mattifier when you retouch your make-up during the day. You don't have to worry about using it with liquid foundation because it can be used alone.

4. Mary Kay Beauty Blotters Oil absorbing Tissue





 This is a must-have in our community. (The Oildiva community group). Blot it before any mattifier or powder to absorb the shine. Make sure to use facial tissue first if you have any sweat on your face. I also use the Bench blotting paper but I ran out of it. They work just the same.


5. Mary Kay Timewise Age-fighting Moisturizer


Never leave the house without moisturizer. The more you skip it, the more shiny your face will be. The glands in our face will secrete more oil if they sense the dryness of the skin. I always remind myself to apply my daily moisturizer before going out ever since learning about it and my face is less oily than it has ever been.
