Why do men lie?

I had a double shift yesterday. That would mean as early as
4am in the morning I have to go to work,be out at 1pm and go back to work 11:45pm
same date and be out at 9 am the next day. I have no actual sleep and by the
time I was out at the office, I was really HUNGRY. God knows how much damage a person can do when she is hungry.I texted him to pick me up.
I was so happy he replied that he’s almost there. 30 minutes later, He arrived.
I was so wet from the rain that poured while waiting for him, plus my hungry
stomach starting to kill me. I was so disappointed and felt betrayed. He
said he’s almost there but took so long to pick me up. I know the drive was
only 15 minute plus traffic. Then why did he say he’s almost there. Why do men
lie?
1.
They don’t want ladies to ask many questions.
2.
They want something.
I had heard a saying before, while boys are visual, girls are more into hearing. Meaning that if you want to get something from a girl you better be good in words. They give you what you wanted to hear to approve their request. But little did they know that we’re more into honest words.
3.
They don’t want to hurt us.
Truth can hurt at times and some men don’t
really want to hurt the feelings of a girl by telling them the truth. If they
smell complication, they would really say’ Im outta here”. The truth is, you
will hurt us more with lying.
Here’s the catch, no matter what the sex is, we all lie. We have simple lies, white lies and complicated lies. No matter how little a lie is, it’s still a lie. We lie because we have our own reasons. We say it because we think that the truth is more painful than telling a lie. But as one Facebook status states “ Truth hurts but it will set you free”.
