Summer came early this year in the Philippines. Because this post is all about my summer essentials plus a summery make-up look. I always think of the sun, and those flash parties we used to go during summertime. I was inspired by the sun and it's golden glory in creating this make-up tutorial.This look is perfect for prom, graduation or any occasion. You can also wear it with everything ( I promise). I hope you enjoy!
Let us start!
Start with your normal foundation routine. In this tutorial,I was able to use the Mary Kay Timewise Matte wear Foundation.
This baby is matte which is good for combating the sun's unforgiving and "melting your make-up" rays.This helps to mattify your face while under the heat. Make sure you have SPF moisturizer underneath this one because it does not contain any sun protection. Sun spot is the last thing you would ever want this year.( Trust me!)
If you want a product that can protect you from those rays, I suggest you use this Mary Kay Timewise CC cream. It has SPF 15 and it doesn't leave a "so obvious" white cast when using flash photography. Perfect for summer selfies!
I have a pretty oily skin that is why I am using the Quick FX No-shine Mattifier to prime my face. Need I say more about this product? Definitely a summer must-have.
For my eyes, I used the reddish brown color on my AIDO make-up kit. This was my transition color. I applied it over my crease but leaving the center of the lids untouched. For the lids, I used my Avon dual-ended product to act as a base. I immediately applied "Gold Coast" from Mary Kay on top of it. This was like putting sunshine on my lids. I lined my eyes with that same brown eyeliner from ever bilena because I was going for a softer look in this tutorial.
Lastly, for my lips, I am making use of "Shell" by Mary Kay. This is the perfect nude to compliment the eyes. I also tried it with red and it was also a hit!
