Although it wasn't at all spring here in the Philippines but we pinays love to always "redo" our vanity. Talk about Spring cleaning for that matter. Clearing out my pile of product used-ups was a bit fulfilling for me to be honest. Maybe it was the "nurse"in me. Anyways, I recently stumbled upon my bag of empties and I thought to myself" Why didn't I ever filmed an empties video?" I knew that I'm going to film this video and so they were just sitting in my vanity taking a lot of space. I do enjoy watching these kind of videos on Youtube. Finally, I managed to film and was able to get rid of them at last.

For this Sulitpinay episode, I am going to talk about products that I have accumulated for the past year. There are products that for sure I'm going to repurchase but there were also products that I am very happy to part ways. Another is that, the pictures that I will be incorporating here are the snaps from my very own product empties video which I have uploaded on youtube. I think it is something new and not very traditional. Without any other interruption, here are the empties;

Product list:

1. Vaseline Healthy White UV Lightening Lotion



There was a time in my life that the only lotion I was using was Vaseline. I did give this one a try and yes it delivered. But It was just that "OKAY" product that you can live without. I don't see myself repurchasing this for the next month since I am still inlove with the Nivea Extra White Firming body serum.

2. Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation



This mineral powder foundation offers light to medium coverage. There were days that I don't want to don on heavy foundation and this was always my go-to foundation. If you want more coverage this might not work for you. I never use it whenever my face was acting up. Definitely, I will repurchase this all over again.

3.Dream White Kojie-san soap


No joke, I have been using this product for two years now. I went back and forth with the other kojie-san soap which was also one of  my favorite. I don't consider my self as a fair person but in comparison with my skin before, I can definitely say that my skin has lightened. Definitely, I will repurchase this one.

4.Avon Skin So Soft whitening face cream.



I love trying out whitening face products with SPF that is why when I spotted this from the brochure, I immediately ordered one. This was not a bad product at all. I have super sensitive skin and it has given me a bit of texture on my nose and forehead. I know this was the product that had given me texture because, when I stopped using this, the texture was also gone. But if your not sensitive as I am, this product can really lighten your face.This may work for you. But for me, I am not going to repurchase this again. Although, I am still open in trying out Avon products. They have a great variety of skin care essentials which I am looking forward to.

5.Bench Bay Bambino and Penshoppe Fruit fave in" watermelon".


These two colognes were my all time favorites. They also smell very differently. The Bench Bambino smells like straight up from a baby's neck. It smells heavenly.It has a subtle smell which I am crazy about. The Penshoppe fruit fave has also a very fruity smell. This smells like a watermelon in a nice kind of way. What I like about this is that it's odor is really long lasting. Definitely, I will repurchase these two.

6.Mary Kay Liquid eyeliner pen


Not too crazy about this product. I don't know if I have gotten a bad one but this liner was patchy and very streaky. It also gave me panda eyes at the end of the day. It's pigmentation was also missing in action. From my experience, I am not going to repurchase this one to be honest. I tried some of the eyeliner pencils from Mary Kay and they worked like heaven. They are very creamy and I had no issue with the pigmentation. Go get those if your contemplating to buy one.

7. Dove Whitening Deodorant in "Original"


This is one of the basic necessities that I have in here. It simply the best in the market.This is antiperspirant and prevents underarm darkening. I will repurchase this for sure.

8.Avon Naturals  Face Care UV Protector


From my experience, this clogged my pores. I also had a few pimples in the area where I applied this cream. This has sun protection which was good. But other than that, I will not be reaching for this product ever again.

9.Avon Ideal White in "Beige Ochre"


This powder works like magic. This has  medium coverage and can be applied wet or dry. It instantly whitens your face and can blur out any imperfections on your face.It has also SPF which I love. I have been raving for this products since 2009. I need this in my life for sure.

10.Bobbie Nail Polish Remover


 I never use any other nail polish remover other than this. It removes your nail polish in seconds. It is a product that I go back and forth. Definitely, I will repurchase this one.

11. Avon Lip and Cheek tint



This product brings back a lot of memories. I used this since 2007. Back when I was working as a  staff nurse, I would apply this one and I am good to go. What I like about this is that it doesn't need touch-ups. It lasts until the end of the day,I promise. I am planning to buy another one of this and I also want to try the Ever Bilena lip and cheek tint.

12. Mary Kay True Dimension Lipstick in "Firecracker"


I have saved the BEST for last.  I will never be ashamed of recommending this product because it works wonders. It is so pigmented, very buttery formula and moisturizes your lips like Mahatma Gandhi with his words. It glides very smoothly when applied on the lips. It is also very lightweight  and it's as if you are wearing butter on your lips. This lipstick is so luxurious. I love this!
